Major International Statistics Conference at St Andrews

Friday 24 February 2017

The Centre for Research into Ecological and Environmental Statistics is organising the sixth International Statistical Ecology Conference (ISEC) in St Andrews from the 2nd to the 6th of July 2018. This biennial series of interdisciplinary conferences was initiated by CREEM in conjunction with the National Centre for Statistical Ecology, of which CREEM is the largest partner organisation, in 2008. It quickly developed into the premier international conference for statisticians developing statistical methods to solve ecological problems and ecologists and biologists using quantitative methods in their research. Previous conferences have been held at St Andrews (2008), Canterbury, UK (2010), Sundvollen, Norway (2012), Montpellier, France (2014) and Seattle, USA (2016).
