R&A Ransome Scholarships - apply now

6 November 2019

The R&A Ransome Scholarships were established in 1994 as a way for the friends and associates of Dr Ernest Ransome to recognise his commitment to philanthropy, education, and athletics. The scholarships are intended to enrich the experience of deserving postgraduate students by affording them the opportunity to attend the University of St Andrews.

The scholarships are open to students from Canada, Mexico, and the USA starting a Masters degree at St Andrews - including the Graduate School for Interdisciplinary Studies' Masters degrees. The Graduate School offers degrees in Conservation Studies, Digital Health, Gender Studies, Global Social and Political Thought, International Development Practice, and Sustainable Development.

Scholarships cover tuition fees and accommodations costs and include allowances for travel and books. The application period for scholarships for September 2020 entry closes 30 January 2020.
